Day 4, page 22 – third prayer

Prayer for all who work in Hospitals

We ask [Your] Blessing, O God, on all who work in and for this Hospital; our Nursing Staff, the Medical and the Administrative and Domestic Staffs, that we may all be inspired with the knowledge that we are carrying on the work of [Your] Son, Jesus Christ, in the healing of the Sick, and the relief of pain.  Grant that we may always have this ideal of Service before us, and [Yours] be the Glory [for ever. Amen].

For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God. So we do not lose heart.
